While today sucked in one major way, it kicked ass in another.

Went to the Flyers Practice Facility today because we figured they'd at least work out today, and, therefore sign if people wanted them.

As I didn't expect this guy to show up as people came in, we saw Peter Forsberg and I couldn't believe it. I always said I was going to get his jersey, so, at this opportunity, four people wanting his sig, and I could get my jersey signed, I went in and bought it.

So, $150 later, I figured I'd have a signed Forsberg jersey at the end of the day. This didn't turn out to be the case, as he drove right by us. Whether he saw us or not is a different story. We were waving to him, but theres always that chance.

Rather than focus on the one negative event that happened, I want to concentrate on the awesome day I had getting everyone BUT Forsberg(and Brashear, but I didn't even really want him..)

I got the 8x10 signed from Jeff Carter that I took in the Calder Cup finals last year, I got Mike Richards to sign another H&P card..

Coach Hitchthingy signed a CIC for me, Turner Stevenson signed one as well(nice sig), Seidenberg signed one too- but his sig is realllly deteriorating.

Mike Rathje, who I wasn't even expecting to see today pulled a surprise and signed too. Another surprise was Keith Primeau, he signed an 8x10, as did Patrick Sharp who was in a really good mood today.

The most surprising sig of the day definitely had to be Kim Johnsson. He signed once last season for us. Oddly, he came right out and stopped his car, and was incredibly nice. I really am happy to have another auto of his in my collection.
