Welcome to my autograph collection!

My name is Ryan, I'm 21 years old and have been collecting autographs for about ten years. Before that I did have some autographs, just like any other kid. I remember going to baseball games way back in the day and getting guys to sign my hat. It was cool and I still have some of those hats signed by guys like Chuck McElroy and Brian Hunter.

I collect through-the-mail (TTM) and in-person (IP) which are terms you'll hear quite frequently when browsing sites like my own. But, my first ever autograph request; which got me started in the hobby, wasn't an autograph request at all! I sent a 3-page handwritten letter (I was in the third grade, so my handwriting was terrible- it hasn't gotten much better either!) to Chuck Norris. I invited him to dinner, I told him my mom would make turkey and he could sleep over. When I was younger all the way up until the show ended, I was a huge fan of Walker, Texas Ranger. Anyway, a few weeks after I sent that fan letter out, I received a cast photo signed. Later on, I found out the photo was a fake autograph (a pre-print), see F.A.Q. for definitions. That did not deter me though, I had a new passion!

I started to send out many requests after that. It worked for me and I build a nice collection. About 7 years ago, I was fortunate enough to inherit a collection from my grandfather's brother who had obtained many autographs of people who I never thought I would be able to add to my own collection. I've been working hard on showcasing those autographs on a separate site, which you will find by clicking "Ray's Collection" to your left.

Aside from collecting signed photos and cards, I've started to amass quite a collection of signed books, which take up a good portion of the shelves above my desk and you can see those by clicking "Signed Books" to your left.
